U.K. agency endorses spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain

The U.K.'s National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence has released a guidance recommending spinal cord stimulation for individuals who continue to suffer from chronic pain for at least six months after using traditional methods to relieve the problem. NICE's endorsement clears the way for National Health Service coverage of the therapy.
