Immigration audits will target 1,000 employers

The federal government will audit about 1,000 employers for alleged violations of immigration laws. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said they are targeting companies "associated with critical infrastructure." The audits are aimed at deterring companies from hiring illegal immigrants.
