India's retailers determine bigger is better

As consumers begin to return to shops in India, retailers are determining that large-format stores can be quite beneficial. The bigger retail spaces allow merchants to display and sell more items, resulting in higher customer spending. Aditya Birla Retail is planning to add as many as seven hypermarkets, while Spencer's plans to open up to 30 larger stores by March.
