No more major acquisitions, says Whole Foods CEO

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey said the chain will consider only "mom-and-pop-type chains" for future acquisitions. He does not want a repeat of the company's complicated merger with Wild Oats, which the Federal Trade Commission nearly blocked and which required Whole Foods to sell 32 stores.
