Study OKs kidney transplant for HIV patients

A study showed that after a three-year follow-up, 88% of HIV patients who were transplanted with a new kidney were still alive and 74% of the kidneys remained functioning. Researchers found no evidence that kidney transplant causes an HIV resurgence.
