Colo. district is reaching for common ground in ELL lawsuit

Denver Public Schools, which have been following an improvement plan created in 1999 for the education of English language learners, have come together with the plaintiffs and the U.S. Department of Justice in a proposal to revise the existing consent decree. Changes would include provisions on teacher training and parent communication, among others.
