Forecast: Canadians to spend for the holidays

Canadian consumers are expected to spend 4.6% more on the holidays this year, with shoppers in Alberta and Saskatchewan driving the increase, according to Colliers International. "Despite continued uncertainty in the global economy, Canadian retail spending levels have been remarkably resilient," said Colliers senior associate David Bell.
