Survey finds strong support for U.S.-made appliances

The majority of consumers in the U.S. and China are willing to pay higher prices for appliances bearing the label "Made in USA," according to a new survey from The Boston Consulting Group. Both American and Chinese consumers indicated a belief U.S.-made products are higher quality than their Chinese counterparts, while a majority of U.S. respondents also cited patriotism as a reason for purchasing decisions.
