Va. county manager gears up for possible budget sequestration

Arlington County, Va., Manager Barbara Donnellan plans to ask officials for permission to set aside $3 million to prepare for possible budget sequestration this winter. Donnellan says budget cuts would stall, but not reverse, economic growth. The county's biggest obstacles would include federal job cuts, reduced grants for low-income housing and schools, and vacancy in commercial buildings.
