Fla. district tests iPads for digital textbooks

All high-school students and eighth-grade students in a Florida school district have been using iPads in the classroom as part of a pilot program intended to determine which device to use for electronic textbooks. While the iPads have been popular among some students who say they have dramatically improved textbooks, others say they do not like them, with one complaint being the inefficiency of typing on the tablets.
