Ford exec: More cooperation is needed for connected cars

Automotive manufacturers and technology companies need to work together more closely to realize the vision of Internet-connected vehicles, Ford Motor's Jim Farley said this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show. "The car companies have to change and the tech companies have to change," he said. "For the car companies, it's pretty clear that the mobile digital economy is not in our hands."
