Logistics firm selects BNSF-served Wash. port for facility expansion

Served by BNSF, the Port of Quincy, Wash., has been chosen by Diamond Logistics Northwest for its plan to expand cross-docking and load consolidation facilities. The company recently acquired 18 acres of land at the port for its development plan. Among the factors that led to the port's selection is that it has "a state-of-the-art Intermodal Terminal on the BNSF mainline, which goes from Seattle to Chicago, and is only a few minutes away from I-90," DLNW said.
