Tablets make headway as preferred mobile device, Adobe finds

Tablets are gaining ground on smartphones as the preferred device among mobile users, according Adobe research. Twenty-three percent of mobile users now consider tablets their foremost device, up from 12% last year, Adobe finds. The smartphone, however, is still the primary device among 77% of users who also own a tablet.
