Visitors get their first look at 3-month-old tiger cubs at National Zoo

Sumatran tiger cubs Bandar and Sukacita, born Aug. 5 at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., made their first public appearance Monday. Only 400 to 500 of the critically endangered Sumatran tigers remain in the wild, while about 65 live in North American zoos. The cubs are the first litter of mom Damai, 5, and their dad is Kavi, 12.
