New York Judge Rules In Favor Of Regents Exams

A judge in Albany, N.Y., has ruled that students in 28 schools in New York City must take the Regents exams to graduate from high school. The schools -- mostly alternative schools -- had spurned the exams, arguing that their own assessment standards adequately measured achievement.
