Wyeth halts production of pneumonia and flu vaccines

The company's decision to stop producing the vaccines leaves only one company in the U.S. that still produces the pneumonia vaccine and one making a flu vaccine. Wyeth said it wants to focus on new immunization technologies. A spokesman for the CDC expressed concern that there may not be enough vaccines for everyone who wants to obtain them.
