Grocers prepare Thanksgiving dinner

Kroger, Whole Foods and Giant Eagle are among some of the grocers offering fully-prepared to-go Thanksgiving meals for their customers. "We've seen a trend toward more people purchasing prepared foods for quite some time now, as time-starved consumers look for alternatives," said an industry group spokesman. According to NPD Group, 6% of shoppers are expected to buy prepared Thanksgiving dinners.
