Protient opens Minnesota research center

Dairy-ingredients firm Protient has opened a $1 million research and applications center in Minnesota with a sensory lab, applications lab, product development lab and processing room for pilot trials. "It is a great resource and offers us more flexibility when developing functional ingredient solutions for our customers," an official said.
