Deere drops lawsuit against former employee

Deere & Co. has dropped a lawsuit against a former employee who left the company to take a position at AGCO Corp. The company agreed to dismissal of the lawsuit after Bill Hurley represented to the court that he had no confidential information and that his new responsibilities would not conflict with any obligations that he had while working for Deere. Hurley was a sales branch manager for Deere and is the director of marketing for AGCO.
