Duncan: Adults must put student interests ahead of their own

Adults must do more to help students and turn around the country's schools, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said in a speech Thursday in Indiana to the National Alliance of Black School Educators. "We as adults have not put children's interests ahead of our own -- political leaders, education leaders," he said. "We want to shine a spotlight on places where adults are coming together to collaborate and move outside their comfort zones and do the right things."
