Dooley: There is "fundamental disagreement” among TSCA stakeholders

Democrats on a Senate Environment and Public Works subpanel Thursday asked American Chemistry Council President and CEO Cal Dooley to help rewrite a measure that would modernize the Toxic Substances Control Act. ACC and other stakeholders "have [a] fundamental disagreement" on how the TSCA should be updated, Dooley said, and "a significant period of time" is required to settle those issues. Dooley also noted that the ACC has met with Democratic staff members to present its thoughts on TSCA reform.
