Ala. plans virtual coaching for special-education teachers

Alabama is using a $1.2 million federal grant to offer ongoing professional development for special-education teachers. The state is considering an online coaching model in which teachers receive immediate feedback from a virtual coach who observes the lesson in real time via a webcam.
