Big-box retailers go all out to win back Internet buyers

Major retailers are rolling out a wide range of promotions to avoid losing holiday sales to "showrooming," when shoppers visit stores to look at merchandise, then buy online. IDC Retail Insights surveyed shoppers and found that 20% intend to "showroom" this year, double last year's percentage.
