China proposes training grants for general aviation

Pilots are in short supply across the general aviation industry in China, prompting the country's Civil Aviation Administration to propose grants for pilot training. China's aviation fleet is expanding, but currently one-third of the planes cannot fly due to a lack of pilots. For some companies, hiring a pilot is as expensive as purchasing a plane.
