Chinese firm develops 1.35 GHz processor with 32nm process

Loongson Technology will provide details in February about the Godson-3B1500 processor, which is said to run at up to 1.35 gigahertz and has eight processing cores. Meant for use in PCs, servers and supercomputers, the chip is fabricated with a 32-nanometer process and packs in 1.14 billion transistors.
