La. district needs additional wireless access for schools

The instructional technology director of a Louisiana parish is seeking to divert funds from electronic reading devices for students to expand wireless access in the district's middle and high schools. LaShona Dickerson said the access points are needed to support the district's existing technology and move forward with bring-your-own-device and e-reader programs.
