Majority of vets unfamiliar with their VA benefits, analysis finds

Despite efforts to educate troops returning from overseas about the benefits and services they're entitled to from the Department of Veterans Affairs, more than half lack a firm understanding of their benefits, an analysis of VA survey data has found. Younger veterans have more knowledge than older vets, but 40% of those who have served since Sept. 11, 2001, say they know little about their benefits.
