NFL partners with eClinicalWorks in an EHR initiative

The National Football League is working with eClinicalWorks, an ambulatory vendor, as it aims to start using EHRs to serve 32 teams nationwide. EClinicalWorks will provide the EHR system that will be accessible to all teams at training facilities as well as at stadiums during games. "This solution will help medical staff with secure real-time information to make decisions that will benefit the player," said Brian McCarthy, the NFL's vice president of communications.
