President of AMR pilots union urges acceptance of new contract

Keith Wilson, Allied Pilots Association president, is urging pilots to accept the newly negotiated contract with American Airlines, likening a vote to reject the contract to "self-destruction." The comments, made in a message to union members, reflect a conflict that Wilson hopes will be resolved in part by the new contract. The ratification vote will close on Dec. 7.
