Sharp design helps Absolut Fris bottle stand out

Absolut's Frïs vodka bottle was awarded GPI's 2012 Clear Choice Award in the Distilled Spirits category for its Nordic-inspired design that mimics a large shard of ice. "For this project, our goal was to craft visually stunning packaging that counterbalances the average, clear vodka bottle -- resulting in a smoky gray, chiseled exterior that is both elegant and sleek," said Richard Bates, chief creative officer of The Brand Union, which partnered with Absolut on the bottle design.
