Burgundy to cost over £10 in 2014

Burgundy wine will retail for more than £10 in 2014 because of a third consecutive year of small vintages, according to Burgundy négociants' association President Louis-Fabrice Latour. Global demand helped Burgundy reach an export record in 2013, but price increases may drive it from store shelves. "I believe that, from 2014, sub-£10 Burgundy will no longer exist on supermarket shelves," said Latour.
