Digital displays find their way to NYC transit stations

The New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority is open to exploring options for using digital signage to improve the commuter experience and raise revenue where possible, spokesman Paul Fleuranges said. One recent example: A L'Oreal Paris display in the Bryant Park subway station that picks out the prominent colors in the outfits of passersby and recommends complementary L'Oreal products.
