Fed searches for new approach to supporting recovery

Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting in October show that central bank officials are reluctant to continue stimulus policies but want to find other ways to boost the U.S. economic recovery. Committee members said they might start tapering the Federal Reserve's bond-buying program "at one of its next few meetings."
