GoldieBlox girls work to engineer change

Engineer Debbie Sterling’s toy company GoldieBlox is taking on gender stereotypes and looking to promote STEM interest in young girls. The company rewrote the lyrics to "Girls" by The Beastie Boys and filmed a video of young girls engineering a house-sized princess machine. The video was designed to "showcase the amazing inventive power that girls have," the GoldieBlox website said.
