Google ad showing old friends reconnecting strikes chord in India, Pakistan

A Google advertisement showing two friends, one in India and one in Pakistan, using the search service to reconnect after decades apart has gotten more than 4 million views on YouTube. The ad, "Reunion," portrays the grandchildren of two men, who were separated after the 1947 partition of the countries, using Google products to locate each other's families and plan a visit. The video has generated buzz in both countries from supporters and detractors because of the sensitive topic.
