Hunt: Banks are committed to educating consumers

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has released a study, which finds that about $670 million is spent each year on financial education, compared with the $17 billion that the banking industry spends on marketing. CBA President and CEO Richard Hunt said in a statement that banks are committed to educating consumers, and that the quality of financial education programs is more important than their costs.
