Lawyer: Bid protests increase amid greater competition for federal projects

With a greater likelihood of contractors filing bid protests as competition heats up for declining federal dollars, contractors should consider the various grounds for a successful challenge, lawyer David Nadler writes. For example, the protesting contractor must show that the failure of winning a contract would have a direct effect on its economic interest, and also must demonstrate that it would be next in line for a contract, he writes.
