Pay walls to go up at more than 75 Digital First properties

More than 75 newspapers operating under Digital First Media's Journal Register and MediaNews properties -- including The Denver Post and the San Jose Mercury News -- will institute pay walls over the next several months, the publisher announced. When the transition is complete, about 40% of U.S. dailies will be charging readers to access digital content, Ken Doctor writes.
