Report: Location targeting a near-universal strategy among mobile marketers

A majority, 97%, of mobile marketers utilized location information as a component in their third-quarter advertising campaigns, according to a report from xAd. Almost as many, 96%, said they are combining location and other information to target ads as well, a strategy that improved click-through rates by 10%, xAd said.
