Independent electric motors in the four wheels of an experimental car provide exceptional maneuverability. But the motors' independence also makes the small electric car unstable and difficult to drive. Researchers at The Ohio State University are working on a system to coordinate the wheels of the car, making it an ideal candidate for urban driving.
