Study: A consistent sleep schedule may help keep you trim

Research suggests that women who fail to develop consistent sleep schedules tend to have higher body fat. "We have these internal clocks, and throwing them off and not allowing them to get into a pattern does have an impact on our physiology," explained Bruce Bailey, a professor of exercise science. The research, which tracked the sleep habits of more than 300 women, appeared in the American Journal of Health Promotion.
