Trial backs Alzheimer's eye test from Cognoptix

Cognoptix released results of its SAPPHIRE II eye test, which can identify patients with Alzheimer's disease by measuring an optical beta-amyloid marker. The tool detected the signature and largely correlated with PET findings, demonstrating 85% sensitivity and 95% specificity.
