NAEP Science Scores Disappoint

Just 18% of high school seniors demonstrated proficiency in science on the most recent National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) exam, according to results released Nov. 20. On a slightly more positive note, 32% of eighth-graders and 29% of fourth-graders achieved proficiency or better on the test.
