Chairman introduces transportation funding bill

The Associated General Contractors spoke out in support of the $375-billion, six-year proposal when it was announced by House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Don Young, R-Alaska, earlier this week. Young said the bill would include $298 billion for highway work and allot $67 billion for transit projects.
