Study: Insulin-resistance markers noted

Health care providers looking for insulin resistance in overweight patients may find triglycerides and triglyceride-high-density lipoprotein to be helpful indicators, according to a new study. Insulin resistance can put patients at greater risk for type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
