Hormel Foods successfully targets its Spam marketing to specific countries -- as a sophisticated food in Asia and a "kitschy" product in the U.S. -- and a new television ad calls on Brits to "stand up and enjoy your Spam." The Spam brand is a viable springboard for Hormel to introduce new products into global markets, analysts say.
