P&G leads bidders for Chinese TV spots

Bidding for 2007 primetime ad placements on state-run Chinese media giant China Central Television concluded over the weekend, with Procter & Gamble China leading the bidders for the fourth year running. The auction raised a total $860 million, up 15.8% from last year. The 15 CCTV channels reach an estimated 95% of China's 1.3 billion-strong population.
