Google makes search personal

With Google's new SearchWiki tools, users with an account can alter the order of results from a query, remove results that aren't applicable and post personal notes with entries on a standard results page. SearchWiki comments and alterations aren't fed back into Google's overall search algorithm, but Vice President of Search Marissa Mayer said "some of these signals might be used to influence algorithms in the future."
