Teens, schools pinch pennies to save on homecoming

In sharp contrast to homecoming dances that had been becoming increasingly lavish, more Florida schools are moving the event back to the school gym and more teens are shopping for second-hand dresses. "We're seeing people who, you know, wouldn't typically be needing help," said Pam Kirtman of the nonprofit Becca's Closet, which gives gowns to students who otherwise couldn't afford one.
