Morningstar: College-savings plans slash fees

Nebraska's College Savings Plan, as well as college-savings plans run by Fidelity, T. Rowe Price and Vanguard have cut fees this year and have been gravitating toward cheaper index options that cost between 0.20% and 0.25% per year, according to Morningstar. Funds are also waiving sales loads for customers with other accounts, Morningstar research shows.
